This 1950s home movie captures scenes at Clark Air Force Base on Luzon Island in the Philippines. The footage was shot by Donor Virginia Sissom’s cousin, who was stationed at the base while serving in the US Air Force during the Korean War. On base, posted troops patrol the grounds. Off base, soldiers explore the nearby City of Angeles, where they see bustling markets and encounter civilians.
