boy with hoop is Curtis Durham, and the girl is his sister, Shirley Durham. Their parents (now deceased) are Clifford and Katherine (Bell) Durham, and they lived on a farm near Topsey, Texas at
the time, also in Lampasas County. The boy without the hoop is Wendell Bell, son of Morris Bell, Gatesville, Texas.
