This unedited interview footage, taped by Dallas-based director Jim Ruddy for “Entertainment Tonight,” is of country music star George Strait, who talks about his role in the 1992 film, “Pure Country”, in which he stars. He plays Wyatt "Dusty" Chandler, a famous country musician, which Strait knows plenty about in his real life. In this interview, Strait talks about how he enjoys acting and would do it again if asked, that his character’s appearance doesn’t necessarily reflect his own, and how well he expects the film to perform.
