This home movie captures scenes of the Cruz family spending the day playing at El Paso’s San Felipe Park as part of the Head Start Program. The children in the program run down sand dunes, swing, slide, and play on the merry-go-around. The Head Start Program is a program of the United States Department of Health and Human Services that provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families.
