This footage is a photo montage dedicated to Houston golfer, Jimmy Demaret, made in 1983, likely at the time of his death. Included are photos of Demaret at multiples tournaments, with his signature wardrobe, golfing in front of a tiger, and posing with famous figures such as Mickey Mantle and Bob Hope. Jimmy Demaret was the first golfer to win the Masters Tournament three times. He was also known for his flamboyant personality and clothes, his style so bright and loud that his nickname became “The Wardrobe.” A fan favorite, Demaret also had good comedic timing and voice talent, and once guest starred on “I Love Lucy.” He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1983, the same year he died. A similar photo memorial follows for ABC News Anchor Frank Reynolds, who also died in 1983.
