This short silent film documents the construction of the the Freeport Harbor in the 1920s. Intertitles tell the story of the construction of the harbor, describe its functions, its maintenance by the government, and how it will serve within industries to benefit commerce in the region. Images of the harbor, large pieces of machinery shaping the coast, and huge pipes being laid into the ground correspond with the descriptions in the intertitles. This film was reconstructed by TAMI from seven individual reels in the Story Sloane Collection.
