This industrial film, made for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company by Bill Stokes Associates, stars impressionist Rich Little expounding on the virtues of long distance telephone service as he uses long distance to book entertainers for the “big awards show” in Hollywood, presumably the Academy Awards, though the show is not named. Rich uses long distance to call Bing Crosby, Jonathan Winters, Cary Grant, Jack Benny, “Get Smart” character Maxwell Smart, and Ed Sullivan, all played by Rich Little himself!
