This silent news film from the KCTV News Collection includes footage for four news stories, including a story on San Angelo city buses, the San Angelo Fire Department putting out a fire at a Trail-Mobile trailer dealership, a Vietnam demonstration, and the interior of the Levi-Strauss plant in San Angelo. The Vietnam demonstration was put on by the San Angelo Jaycees, who erected a POW Cage at the Tom Green County Courthouse where a man sat “prisoner” to remind observers of the POWs still in Vietnam. The Levi-Strauss plant, which operated in San Angelo in 1997, was having a dress-up day for its employees who were all dressed in hippie costumes.
