Entertainment USA was a British television light entertainment series that showcased entertainment news and clips from the United States. In this 1988 episode, host Jonathan King explores Corpus Christi, delivering comedic commentary about the city as he partakes in several activities. First, King hits the harbor, biking along the boardwalk and feeding wild dolphins with TAMI donor Sonja Strong of the Dolphin Connection. Next, he tries out the array of drive-in businesses, from restaurants to liquor stores. After a stop at Padre Island, King completes his visit at Rio Paisano Ranch, where he interviews “Boss Lady” and Houston society icon Mary Grace Horlock. Interspersed throughout the segment are reports about popular music and movies, from Guns N’ Roses to the out-of-this-world comedy My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988).
