This home movie from the late 1960s captures the Koehl family on vacation in Montreal, Canada. After touring the city, they visit the Man and His World exhibition along the St. Lawrence River. Located on the site of the 1967 International and Universal Exposition, also known as Expo 67, the exhibition encompasses the remaining international pavilions from the World’s Fair, including a geodesic dome that represented the United States. The exhibition ran from 1967 to 1984, when most of the buildings—originally designed to only last for the duration of the fair—began to deteriorate. The dome of the USA pavilion remains, however, and now hosts the Biosphère Environment Museum.
