In this unedited interview for Austin’s KVUE-TV, Roy Faires sits down with actor and comedian Robin Williams to talk about his latest film, Club Paradise (1986), also starring Peter O’Toole and Rick Moranis. Exhausted from a day full of interviews, Williams appears most interesting in cracking jokes than talking about the film. He nevertheless discusses what attracted him to movies and how film and stage comedy differ. Faires worked as a special project director and entertainment critic/reporter at KVUE-TV, Austin’s ABC affiliate, from 1976-1989.
