In this unedited interview for Austin’s KVUE-TV, Roy Faires sits down with actor Kevin Costner to talk about his latest film, The Untouchables (1987), also starring Sean Connery and Robert De Niro. In the interview, Costner discusses how he was cast in the film and what he brought to his character. He also describes his deleted scene from The Big Chill (1983). Faires worked as a special project director and entertainment critic/reporter at KVUE-TV, Austin’s ABC affiliate, from 1976-1989.
