This unedited footage captures festivities from the fifth annual Dickens on the Strand in Galveston. Costumed entertainers and vendors stroll along the streets in the historic district while others put on a staged performance. Beginning in 1973, Dickens on the Strand is a street festival held annually at Christmastime in Galveston. Based on 19th-century London, the festival features everything from parade and stage performances to roving entertainers and street vendors.
