This 1944 government film overviews a NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) experiment of ditching a reinforced B-24 bomber in Chesapeake Bay. The film includes demonstrations of the modifications made to the aircraft, the avionics used for gathering data, and the actual ditching of the aircraft.
