This home movie captures the parade during the 1981 Smithville Jamboree. Featured parade participants include the Bastrop High School marching band, the Central Texas Trail Ride, and prominent members of the local community. Jamboree began in the 1960s as an annual hometown celebration, featuring food vendors, street dances, a jelly and jam contest, and more. It now features a livestock show, live music, and a competition for Jamboree queen.
