This home movie compilation captures a pair of Snyder family road trips, one in 1955 and another in 1963. In the first, the Snyders tour Colorado with the Philips family, visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, Carslbad Cavern National Park, and natural attractions including Seven Falls and Garden of the Gods. They also take in cultural attractions such as a Native American dance performance and a parade of cowboys on horseback. In the second, the Snyder family drives through New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. After an afternoon of golf, the family hikes around Petrified Forest National Park. Then, they marvel at Grand Canyon National Park before touring Hoover Dam.
