Shot by TAMI donor Brooks Toland Kasson’s father, who served as an attaché with the United States Air Force in Vietnam, this home movie captures military personnel and their families traveling around Southeast Asia between June and October 1961. The group begins their journey in Karachi, Pakistan, where they ride camels and play in the ocean. Next, they venture to Agra, India, where they tour the famous Taj Mahal. Then, the attachés and them families end up in Vietnam, visiting the South Vietnamese city of Saigon (now known as Ho Chi Minh City).
