This home movie captures a preseason exhibition football game between the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco on August 17, 1958. Legedary football coach Vince Lombardi, then serving as the Giants’ offensive coordinator, is seen walking off the field with the team at halftime. The 49ers lost 19-10. Later, the Plestch family returns home, where the older children play soccer in the front yard and baby daughter Jean crawls around the back patio.
