In this unedited interview for Entertainment Tonight, Dallas-based director Jim Ruddy sits down with Cindy Villarreal—director and choreographer for the Houston Oilers’ cheerleaders, the Derrick Dolls. Villarreal was a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Dallas Mavericks dancer, and Miss Texas. She worked with Houston Oilers Entertainment from 1992 to 1996, after which she took on a executive role with NFL Europe and NFL International. Villarreal later established her own agency, Proformance Sports Marketing and Entertainment, which is currently based in Austin. In the footage, Villarreal deftly answers Ruddy’s questions about the demands and rewards of the sport. She also explains her policy against cheerleaders dating players.
