This home movie captures Elvis Presley—clad in his signature white jumpsuit—live in concert during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at the Houston Astrodome in 1970. The King of Rock and Roll performed six shows at the stadium between late February and early March, setting an attendance record of over 200,000 people. After a seven-year break from live performances, Presley launched his comeback with a television special in 1968. The following year, he started a successful residency at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. The Houston appearance marked Presley’s official return to touring.
