This 1930s home movie chronicles the early years of the two Bench children, Marcia and Geraldine. Photographed years before the family relocated to Fort Bliss in El Paso, the action primarily takes place at the Bench homes in Des Plaines and Park Ridge, Illinois. The sisters ride around on tricycles, play a toy piano, and host tea parties with their friends. In a slow-motion sequence, elder daughter Marcia runs toward her father, Lieutenant Colonel Gerald Bench, for a hug.
