Created by the Texas Department of Public Safety, this film documents Corpus Christi in the days following Hurricane Celia. The storm destroyed nearly half of all structures in the Corpus Christi area; estimates to the number of buildings sustaining any level of damage runs in excess of 80%. The film captures scenes from around the area that include the DPS station, airport, a mobile home park, beached boats, and an aerial survey or the region.
