TAMI Presents: For It to Have Happened in Texas . . . The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy

The Texas Archive of the Moving Image presents its new curated collection commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. TAMI’s collection offers a view of the event from the perspective of Texans who experienced the assassination firsthand. Featured in the collection is TAMI-exclusive footage of Texas Governor John Connally giving his own, very personal account of November 22, 1963, as well as newsreels and home movies made in the immediate aftermath, and documentaries and interviews produced years and decades later.
