TAMI’s Madeline Moya will present to the University of Texas Undergraduate Museum Studies Guild on March 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the E. Williams Doty Fine Arts Building. The lively lecture will include discussion on film acquisition and curating collections from digitized film materials.

TAMI’s new Education Specialist, Caitlin McColl, presents our newest lesson plan, Mexican-American Heritage: Texas Experiences, exploring the history and experiences of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans in the Southwest and Texas from the sixteenth to twentieth century! The lesson plan uses archival footage to encourage students' understanding of how the Mexican-American experience ties to indigenous and Spanish culture and the impact of European colonization and settlement on native people in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
