In November of 1991, voters statewide approved the formation of the Texas Lottery as a means of generating revenue for the state of Texas. The following year, the Texas Lottery awarded a contract to Austin firm GSD&M for all advertising services. This footage feature several quirky spots advertising the "Cash 5" game in which players can win by matching 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbers from a field of 37.
