This home movie captures the Abbot family on two trips - one to Colorado and the other to the Galveston area. In Colorado the family takes in mountain scenery and rides horses. The trip to Gaveston include stops at The Texas Gulf Sulphur Co., the site of the 1947 Texas City Disaster, and the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site, as well of scenes of the Gulf of Mexico, oil refineries, and other industrial sites.
