This home movie from the Frick collection captures a family picnic in Belton, in which family members are shown eating lunch, playing horseshoes, and sharing watermelon with an eager horse. The Frick Collection was donated to TAMI by John Frick and includes home movies of family Christmases, camping trips, and outings in Houston, as well as trips to local Texas events, including the Belton Parade, Howdy Roo Chili Cookoff, Mosquito Festival, Texas Renaissance Fair, Montgomery County Cookoff, Texas Girl Chili Cookoff, and the Westheimer Art Festival.
