This promotional spot, paid for by Committee of 10,000 Texans for Tourism, encourages Texans to cast their vote for Horse Racing. The ballot referendum polled Texans about whether or not the legislature should enact a law that would create the Texas Racing Board that would oversee pari-mutuel track betting. The 1968 referendum did not pass; the Texas Racing Commission was approved by voters in 1987.
